At OzAsia Festival in Adelaide, a 40-meter dragon held the Moon Lantern Trail. It drew 42,000 visitors in four days. That single-object pull is what organizers investing in Commercial Light Installations plan around.
The body runs in a continuous coil, 40 meters end to end. Red-gold scales fade into blue-teal accents along the back. Full-body internal LEDs keep the silhouette lit without dark gaps.
Hand-painted scale bands run the full length. These Chinese Lanterns read as one animal, not a chain of segments.
Length scales 10 m to 100 m; height 3.5 m typical. Color moves between red-gold classic, blue-silver coastal, or brand-aligned palettes. Coil posture, scale density, and internal LED zones all adjust during design. LED sequences can be programmed to run the full body.
