At the Hong Kong Mid-Autumn Festival, a set of cartoon moon-rabbits did exactly that. The event ran 32 free public days across an 8,000 sqm park zone — 300,000 visitors, 100,000+ social shares. That routed pull is what organizers investing in Illuminated Holiday Installations plan around.
Each rabbit carries a white-gray gradient coat, hand-painted across silk. Orange-yellow stars scatter around them at different heights, tying the separate figures into one scene.
Postures vary across the set — some sitting upright, others leaning or mid-hop. Together these Giant Light Sculptures work as a walking path, not a single display piece.
Height scales 1 m to 5 m per figure. Rabbit count adjusts from 3 to 12, spaced to match venue footprint. Coat palettes shift between white-gray default, pink-cheeked with gold accents, or silver-white with blue stars. Star density tunes to open-plaza or intimate-corridor settings.

IP67-rated LEDs ran the full Hong Kong festival without fault. Each rabbit body, ear set, and star cluster ships as a separate module; a small crew assembles a standard 1.8 m unit in a few hours.
