Project Background: Solving Pain Points for a Debut Commercial Light Event
Kuwait’s first lantern-themed commercial event faced three core challenges: local audiences had no knowledge of lantern art, desert high temperatures (up to 45℃) and sandstorms threatened device durability, and cultural taboos required careful theme alignment. To address these, we tailored Custom Lanterns for Commercsyalpial Light Displays, cen.noitatering on Arabian traditional culture to create Arabian Theme Commercial Light Displays that balanced commercial appeal and local adaptation.Overall Results: Dual Success of Kuwait Beach Carnival

Kuwait’s national TV, Al-Qabas newspaper, and radio stations fully covered the event. How Each Custom Lantern Category Serves the Core Theme
Festival Lanterns: Highlight Arabian Cultural Symbols
The 7m-high, 10m-wide Arabian Maiden Festival lanterns was a core visual of the event. It featured traditional Arabian costume details (such as embroidered headdresses) and used high-temperature resistant silk material to avoid fading in desert heat. This piece focused on cultural expression rather than religious elements, becoming a top photo spot for visitors.
Night Attractions: Enhance Immersion of Commercial Displays
The 2.5m-high, 15m-long Giant Anaconda Tunnel Night Attractions added interactive value to the event. Its steel frame was fixed with sandstorm-resistant wind ropes and weights, while internal LED lights simulated “snake movement” to attract visitors to walk through—extending average stay time and boosting commercial engagement.
Light Sculptures: Reflect Local Identity
Two Light Sculptures—8m-high Kuwait Tower and 7m-tall Realistic Camel—integrated local landmarks into the event. They used UV-resistant coatings and galvanized steel frames to withstand sand erosion, with lifelike details that resonated with local audiences and strengthened the theme’s authenticity.

Chinese Lanterns: Complement Theme Atmosphere
Auxiliary Chinese Lanterns (in warm gold tones) were placed in food zones of the event. They used fireproof and sandproof materials to maintain brightness, subtly complementing the Arabian theme without overshadowing the core visual.Execution Support for Stable Event Operation
The opening ceremony was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Zhang Jianwei and Kuwaiti officials, gaining high-level recognition for the Arabian Theme Commercial Light Displays.
Cultural performances like Sichuan Opera fire-breathing were arranged to enrich the event experience, creating a fusion of Chinese and Arabian entertainment.

Our 18-person team completed installation in 16 days using sandstorm-adapted methods (steel piles + weights) to secure devices. A 5-person maintenance team stayed on-site to clean sand and check equipment, ensuring the event operated flawlessly for 2 months.
