3rd Global Children's Lantern Art Awards Revealed

3rd Zigong Lantern Global Children's Creative Design Contest Announces International Winners

The 3rd Zigong Lantern Global Children's Creative Design Contest has concluded its evaluation phase, drawing nearly 6,000 submissions from children worldwide under the theme "A Boundless Future." Launched on June 1, 2025, the contest received 742 entries from over 40 countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada, Finland, and Sweden — a geographic reach that signals growing international engagement with Zigong's lantern culture.

The international category recognized 18 winners across three tiers: Best Artwork (2), Excellence in Art (6), and Outstanding Creativity (10). An additional cohort of young participants received honorable mentions for their contributions.
